VMware Vision for Splunk

VMware Vision turns existing vCenter, ESXi and Aria syslog into a record of VM activity. Investigate creation, removal, power operations, configuration changes, migrations, snapshots, users and failures from one app. The app includes VM history and change-audit dashboards, source coverage checks, a detailed VMware data model and a compact model for optional accelerated activity trends. Selected explicit event outcomes map into CIM Authentication and Change. VMware Vision uses logs you already collect. Version 1.1.0 does not poll VMware APIs, maintain complete live inventory or change VMware configuration. API collection may be considered for a future release; it is not included in this version.
