SPLap - Motorsport Telemetry Lab

Install one free app and a real Formula 1 race is already moving inside Splunk. SPLap replays the 2025 Italian Grand Prix from real telemetry: 20 cars on a Monza map drawn from their own GPS, a timing tower with live gaps, every driver's speed, throttle, brake and gear, and race-engineer findings computed in SPL. Every panel has a Show SPL button, so the query behind what you are watching is one click away. A Grand Prix is a better SPL tutorial than another security log. Pit Wall The race replaying at broadcast pace, from 0.25x to 4x. Pick a driver, scrub to any lap, jump to the next pit stop, overtake or flag, or let Attract Mode drive and the battles find you. Share Moment copies a link to the exact second. Position Worm The whole race on one canvas: all 20 drivers across all 53 laps, pit stops dotted, safety-car periods shaded. Click any moment and the replay jumps there. Save image gives you the chart as a PNG to post. Lap Delta Any two laps aligned by distance, corner by corner: braking point, minimum speed, throttle reapplication and the time gained or lost. Try Norris lap 48 against Piastri lap 47 and find the 0.207 s. Incident Review A 30-second evidence window around any race-control message, overtake or pit stop, with both cars on the map and their telemetry on one cursor. What happened next adds the stewards' trail for the same cars. Make your own call on lap 42, Turn 5. Race Engineer Ten deterministic rules (pit-loss anomalies, undercuts and overcuts, tyre degradation steps, closing rates, braking-point changes and more), each finding with a confidence, provenance, evidence and the SPL that reproduces it. No language model anywhere. Bring your own race Connect Data imports any historical session from the community OpenF1 API in your browser, loads an offline race bundle on an air-gapped host, or runs from a Python CLI. Imported sessions get every view Monza gets. Runs anywhere Nothing to configure for the bundled race: no setup page, no API key, no index, no token, no internet after install.
