Enterprises struggle to see where cryptography lives across their code, cloud infrastructure, certificates, keys, and endpoints — and which of it is classical, quantum-vulnerable, or already NIST-approved post-quantum cryptography (PQC). Security teams often run cryptographic discovery and quantum readiness assessments in a separate tool, disconnected from their SIEM. The QuantumGenie Add-on for Splunk closes that gap. It pulls your organization's Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) — assets, dependencies, and certificates — directly from your QuantumGenie workspace into Splunk on a configurable polling interval, so SOC analysts and security engineers can search, alert on, and dashboard cryptographic risk, crypto agility posture, and post-quantum migration progress without leaving Splunk. This tool surfaces the cryptographic risk of an enterprise in Splunk. It informs where legacy encryption is being used, and which services are dependent on it. Once installed, you'll see events under sourcetype quantumgenie:cbom, sourced as quantumgenie:resource, quantumgenie:relationship, and quantumgenie:certificate — covering algorithm classification (classical vs. NIST post-quantum standards such as ML-KEM and ML-DSA and more), quantum-readiness status, certificate expiry, and dependency relationships across your cryptographic estate. Use it to build alerts for expiring certificates, legacy/non-PQC algorithm usage (e.g. RSA-2048), or newly discovered quantum-vulnerable assets — supporting crypto agility, cryptographic risk management, and PQC migration tracking inside your existing Splunk workflows. It closely integrates with CipherScan by QuantumGenie. Requires an active QuantumGenie account and an Integration API token, generated from the "Integration API Tokens" page inside your QuantumGenie workspace.
