DIG Navigator helps you find more value in your Splunk data. It gives data engineers and Splunk admins tools to dig into what a dataset can support, where coverage is thin, and what to improve next in extractions, tagging, onboarding, or ingest.
Set an analysis scope with a search, time range, grouping, and sample size. Use it on data already in Splunk or during onboarding as new sources come online. DIG samples that scope and surfaces evidence around:
• Event structure and data quality
• CIM / datamodel readiness from observed fields and tags
• Governance-relevant field completeness against mapped frameworks (potential evidence to guide discussion, not a formal compliance score)
• Delivery and timeliness of telemetry arriving into Splunk
Start with the executive Data Intelligence and Data Governance views to prioritise work, then drill into the DIG IN investigation dashboards (Structure, Readiness, Governance, Quality, and Delivery) for the field-level and pipeline detail behind each finding.
Requires the Splunk Common Information Model (CIM) add-on. Compatible with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.
