Alpha release: Participation is by invitation only and limited to a small group of approved users. The app is not yet publicly downloadable on Splunkbase, and access requests are not currently being accepted. General availability is targeted for fall 2026. Splunk App for Secure Networking helps organizations turn fragmented Cisco infrastructure, networking, identity, security, application experience, and building telemetry into clear executive and operational insights in Splunk. Cisco environments often produce data across multiple products, add-ons, indexes, sourcetypes, and data models. Building a consolidated view normally requires teams to create and maintain separate searches, dashboards, index mappings, and visualizations. This app provides a reusable foundation that brings those signals together through configurable dashboards, shared search definitions, index-mapping macros, health indicators, drilldowns, and interactive topology views. The app includes Secure Networking Posture dashboards covering Zero Trust Access, Secure Infrastructure, Scalable Network Segmentation, Hybrid Mesh Firewalling, and Agentic Operations. It also provides executive briefing, IT health, security, asset inventory, network readiness, building intelligence, Cisco Spaces, and network topology experiences. Searches use configurable index macros instead of hardcoded index names, allowing the app to adapt to different Splunk environments. Administrators can use the included Macro Index Tuning utility to discover relevant data and map dashboards to their indexes. Splunk App for Secure Networking does not collect Cisco data directly. It visualizes data already ingested into Splunk through applicable Cisco add-ons, integrations, and data models. The dashboards displayed and populated in each environment depend on the available data sources. The app is intended for network operations, security operations, IT operations, Splunk administrators, architects, customer success teams, and executives who need a consolidated view of the health, security, availability, and performance of their Cisco environment.
