The Mission Control Inventory app provides a lookup-driven interface for querying local Mission Control and SOAR inventory endpoints within Splunk Cloud environments. The app enables administrators to collect and monitor SOAR applications, assets, playbooks, and automation configurations through the Splunkd REST API. It includes a custom generating search command that queries endpoints registered in a CSV lookup table, along with pre-configured saved searches for capturing current inventory state and creating daily snapshots. The app is designed specifically for Splunk Cloud deployments where Mission Control functionality is available, and does not require stored credentials or external HTTP connections. All queries are executed against local Splunkd paths using the context of the running user's permissions.
