The Icon Library app provides a custom visualization for Splunk Dashboard Studio that renders 3,879 Material Symbols icons directly on dashboards, with configurable color, size, background shape, shadow, glow, labels, alignment, rotation, threshold-driven coloring and effects, hover tooltips, and click drilldown. The icon font is base64-embedded in the visualization CSS to eliminate external network dependencies and ensure Splunk Cloud compatibility. The app also ships a bundled SVG asset catalog (the same 3,879 icons as static .svg files for use with splunk.image elements) and a CSV lookup (icon_catalog) for enumerating icons from SPL. Five bundled dashboards (README, Service Health Use Case, Icon Showcase, Icon Catalog Browser, SVG Reference) cover documentation, demos, and visual browsing.
