Connecting Vector Database

Identities — Click "+ New Identity", fill name, pick auth type (API Key / Username+Password / Token), pick database type, enter credentials, hit "Create Identity". Edit and delete also work. Password fields toggle visibility with the eye icon.

Connections — Click "+ New Connection", name it, pick database type from the visual grid (port auto-fills), enter host, select an identity from the dropdown (pulls from your Identities list), toggle SSL, save. Test button simulates a connection check. Edit pre-fills all fields correctly.

Data Inputs — Click "+ New Input", name it, pick a connection from the dropdown (shows all your connections), enter collection name, set output fields, choose collection mode (Rising Column disables when Batch is selected), set interval/index/sourcetype/max rows, save. Pause/Start toggle works. Edit pre-fills everything.

Search Explorer — Pick a connection, enter collection name and filter, click Run to see mock results with color-coded severity.
