This allows customers—particularly those with Cisco Advanced Services—to gain centralized visibility into their Cisco device inventory, configuration best practices, security advisories, hardware and software lifecycle alerts, and other critical operational metrics without manual data collection. By automating the retrieval and indexing of this comprehensive Cisco operational data, the app helps organizations improve their network management, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring capabilities within the Splunk platform.
