What Splunk’s AI Assistant for SPL can do for you . . . -On the Write SPL tab, compose what you want to search in plain English, and the assistant translates the request into Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL). You can execute or build on that SPL search, all within a familiar Splunk interface. (In Preview), the assistant can also optimize your searches to execute faster leading to lower time to insights. -On the Explain SPL tab, the assistant explains what any SPL search is doing in plain English, along with a detailed breakdown of the search. -On the Tell me about tab, the assistant answers questions about Splunk documentation and any Splunk platform term or product. Personalization Personalization in Splunk AI Assistant for SPL is an optional feature that generates more accurate and contextual SPL results by considering your unique data, environment, and past queries, while only using non-personal data and supporting role-based access controls. This helps users build better, more relevant SPL searches and distinguishes Splunk’s AI Assistant from generic third-party tools.
