Splunk Add-on for OPC

The Splunk Add-on for OPC is a component of the Splunk for Industrial IoT bundle. This add-on allows a Splunk Enterprise administrator to stream metrics and alarms data from OPC servers to the Splunk platform. This add-on applies transformations to your data to make it compatible with the IoT common information model so that you can use the data in Splunk for Industrial IoT. This add-on supports OPC UA servers as well as OPC DA and AE servers through the UA Gateway. If you have legacy OPC DA or AE servers from which you want to collect data, you must install the UA Gateway on those servers with a license key that allows connections from the Splunk Add-on for OPC.
