The A10 Networks’ Application Firewall is a high performance Layer 7 firewall that provides users with the ability to filter traffic on Network Layers 2-7. Traffic can be filtered based on the source and destination IP addresses, port numbers, IP protocol and the web applications to which traffic is being sent. With the Application Firewall, users can limit access to certain applications by defining security policies. With the Application Firewall app users gain access to advanced analytics including detailed application-based traffic distribution, bandwidth consumption, overall traffic and connection statistics, and security action timelines which can be used for quicker and easier troubleshooting.
