Manager Form

Manager Form is a Splunk Enterprise application that maintains general-purpose registries, configures metrics, and tracks reporting forms for subsidiaries. The app stores submitted form values as events in custom organization indexes using the manager_form:metric sourcetype. It provides role-based access control through four distinct capabilities: viewer, operator, admin, and event replay roles. The app supports multi-organization deployments, where each organization's data is isolated in dedicated indexes following a standardized naming convention. Manager Form uses offline licensing and operates in read-only mode until a valid license is activated. It includes dashboards for metric submission control and general management workflows. The app stores configuration and operational data in KV Store collections and writes form submissions as indexed events, enabling integration with broader Splunk analytics and reporting workflows.
