Mutiny Add-on For Splunk

This add-on provides inputs to pull monitoring meta-data from the mutiny monitoring system. It collects information on nodes, views and also which nodes are in which views. If the mutiny monitoring system has been configured with views (dashboards) that group nodes into services then this useful information can be ingested into Splunk. Combine this add-on with alert forwarding, using the webhook interface to POST alerts into HTTP Event Collector. With this setup ITSI Event Analytics can be enhanced through additional knowledge allowing for alerts from nodes (hosts, network devices) to be attributed to impacted services.
