Overview
Details
MetaAccess is one solution giving your organization secure network access and deep endpoint compliance. The OPSWAT MetaAccess Add-On for Splunk allows a Splunk software administrator to collect MetaAccess data including Logs, Vulnerabilities, Threats, Devices, Reports and more. You can use the Splunk Platform to analyze these logs directly or use them as a data source to correlate them with other authentication and compliance data in the Splunk Platform.

The OPSWAT MetaAccess Add-on for Splunk aims to fetch and ingest the MetaAccess logs and other important data into Splunk to enable Splunk users/analysts to do further analysis on the data using Splunk’s powerful search processing language (SPL) queries.

Pre-requisites

• Register an Application through your OPSWAT account and get the OAuth client key and client secret that is needed to configure the add-on. Please find details here on how to register an application that allows API calls.
• Implement the required firewall rules to enable your Splunk Forwarder to make API calls to port 443 of your OPSWAT on-prem/cloud server.
• Create an index (for example: opswat) that will be used to store the data retrieved by this add-on.
