The Splunk Add-on for Symantec Messaging Gateway(SMG) allows a Splunk Platform Adminstrator to collect Symantec Messaging data from SMG syslog. After the Splunk Platform indexes the events, you can analyze the data. This Add-on is CIM-Compatible. Assign sourcetype symantec:smg:textmail to the incoming data.
