Splunk Product Guidance

Splunk Cloud
Splunk Built
Overview
Details
Splunk Product Guidance is an application that augments your current Splunk Cloud deployment. Splunk Product Guidance (SPG) provides robust guidance for numerous use cases and tasks, without navigating away from the product. SPG enables the ability to access Splunk Lantern Adoption Resource Hub content inside the product. SPG is for all Splunk users, regardless of their role and expertise level, who are looking for timely, contextually-appropriate guidance to help answer their questions.

This app must be installed in your Splunk Cloud environment using the In-Product App Browser on a non-premium search head only. For the On-prem environment, read the disclaimer below.

The feedback you provide will help shape the future goals to deliver richer contextual guidance.
Please send us your feedback at Splunk Community (https://www.splunk.com/en_us/community.html).

Disclaimer:
1. This app leverages a third-party environment that is not within the Splunk Cloud SOC 2 Type 2 attestation. If you do not want to send data to an environment that is not within the Splunk Cloud SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, you can choose not to install this app.
2. SPG is built and tested for Splunk Cloud customers. If On-prem customers want to take advantage of this feature, the deployment needs to always have internet access to communicate with the proxy for SPG to work as SPG is powered by a third-party service.

For additional information (data elements sent to the third-party environment, proxy server), refer to the 'Details' tab.
