Predictive Crime Showcase

If you have successfully integrated Splunk in your system landscape,
you start thinking about the next steps: can I automate time-consuming, manual, repeating tasks and execute at machine speed?
Such tasks can be incident classification, KPI forecasting, failure prediction or fraud detection – the underlying problem is always the same: You need to derive meaning from data. But what if you could automate your decision making to free yourself up?
This app shows a real-world example. Imagine you got promoted to chief of operations of the Chicago police department and have to plan the distribution of your colleagues for the next day.
