Automation Results Triage and Tracking App

The traditional ways of test failures triage may have the following issues: * It needs to change test code to record known issues via annotation/decorator or structured config file, so the test results generated today cannot be associated with newly found issues/bugs immediately. * Known issues are recorded in database and can be associated to test results of some test run in any time, but this process needs to be done again for new test runs, and often in a manual way. * There is no mechanism to freely record the progress and status (e.g. investigating, fixing locally, under code review) of test failures triage. Even though it has such features, it is usually limited to specific test run.

Even though it has such features, it is usually limited to specific test run. This app provides a new way using Splunk tag-based searches to address these issues and help QA team triage their (functional) test failures in a lightweight approach. Here is the sample data to help understand the app: https://github.com/tallshort/splunk_app_arts For more details, please read README under app folder. The major upgrade version (2.0) of this app is hosted in https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/4357/, where the new sourcetype is not compatible with the legacy 1.x one. Please check out the detailed documentation there.
