FWNUA - Free Windows Network User Accounting

FWNUA (Free Windows Network User Accounting) runs silently in a Windows Domain GPO or login script and collects data about user logins. No longer will you need DHCP and Authentication logs to track down security events. FWNUA will generate an easy-to-read time-stamped log entry via syslog to your Splunk server. More valuable data, with less of the hassle. Windows security event auditing is not all it's cracked up to be.
