This is a custom search command that copies events input to it to a file in Dropbox. Optional features include compressing the file and naming it based on a time string.
build.py to create a Splunk package. Install it to your Splunk server like any other app (through the GUI or by copying to
| dropboxcommand to the end of your search, filling in the parameters as follows:
filename: The destination path for the file in Dropbox. Include a leading slash and a file extension. This field accepts strptime templates for naming based on the time of the first event.
dropboxkey: API Access Token for Dropbox.
false): Boolean whether or not to gzip the destination file.
_raw): Field whose contents should be saved. Field should be defined for all events/table rows. The default,
_raw, saves the entirety of each event piped into it but obviously isn't applicable to tables.
