Preface: This document explains the installation and configuration process for SkyFormation On-premise edition. If you're having trouble at any stage or want SkyFormation as a cloud service, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Up to date Java (JDK version 8 at least)

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
SkyFormation installation files
If you don't have the installation files - contact us at email@example.com for a download link.
Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster
Java 8 or above
a. FTP the skyformation folder given to you.
b. Extract the installation file to the designated server
$ sudo apt-get install unzip
$ mkdir skyformation
$ unzip sk4-tomcat.zip -d ./skyformation
c. Give Permission: Make sure all .sh files at ./bin have an execute(x) permission. If files are extracted on a windows machine before being transferred to the Linux machine you will need to run
$ cd /FTP_DESTINATION/skyformation/bin
$ chmod 755 *.sh
d. Activate Skyformation:
From ./bin directory, activate ./startup.sh.
a. Unzip the folder you were given by Skyformation.
b. Open the bin folder.
c. Double-click on startup.bat
That's it - you're good to go, now check out SkyFormation Configuration guide.
